Most of you already know I'm pregnant. I'm due in 2 weeks. According to the doc (not to get too far into the TMI realm, I'm going to tone this down a bit) I am carrying unusually high for this time in the pregnancy, and my hips and pelvis are narrow. The doc is seriously talking about just scheduling a c-section, and after talking to the hubby it may be we go that way.
What this means for here is I may be offline longer than I had originally anticipated when I thought I was going to have a natural (if drugged) birth. The recovery time for a c-section, while not as long as it once was, is still longer than natural birth recovery. I'll be in the hospital days longer than I would have been otherwise. Also, the at-home recovery is more intense with a c-section. For me it's going to be bad because my apartment is a two-story townhouse. Oh... the joy...
I'll try my best to be on as soon as I can after the hospital stay, but I don't know how long I'll be able to be on at a stretch. This is also why my activeness in some plots will be limited. I'll have bronzes in the Flight, but mainly for filler. I don't need another high ranking character, let alone one as high as a junior weyrleader.
I won't have any Candies in the Hatching. I will post in Threadfall as long as I can. My posting will probably be spotty for the Gather. If it gets close to the time for me to go to the hospital, and I have active posts, I'll figure something out so people aren't left hanging. Even if it means letting the other person finish the thread and power play my charries.
