General Rules
1. Flaming, trolling, spamming (unless in the appropriate board), and just general rudeness will not be tolerated on this board. Punishment for breaking this rule will be decided on a case by case basis after discussion among the BoD.
2. This board is operated on a Fade to Black. In other words, if you wouldn't want your strict Catholic granmother to read it, don't post it unless the ocassion is called for. You will learn more about such ocassions later on the board.
3. Godmodding (outside the actual God Mods), power playing, and anything of the sort will not be tolerated. If you have permission from the writer to 'play' their character, it needs to be in a short OOC note in the initial posts of the thread. This lets us BoD types know that all parties are ok with it.
4. If you have no knowledge of Pern, or very little knowledge, do not be afraid to ask questions. We won't laugh at you. We will, however, help you as much as possible. I'm not going to expect everyone to have read the books. It's a long and myriad series. But you should get the drift of the game by reading around the site and asking any questions you may have. I wholeheartedly believe that there are no stupid questions. Ignorance is not in the not knowing, it's in the not asking.
