These are the non-canon colors of the firelizards and dragons. No, not all of them are here. I have to have some secrets.
Dragons[/u][/b]
The Metallic Greens are clutching females. They are between the sizes of a brown and a bronze, and as such can be caught in mating flight by a brown. Their hide is any shade of green possible with a light golden sheen shining over it in the light. Their clutches are not quite as large as the gold clutches, but they are by no means small during a Pass. With up to 28 eggs, they may out-lay an aging queen. They can lay all colors.
The Metallic Greens are extremely protective of their clutches. They resemble the green dragon in color only, and then just a little. They are about as maneuvarable as the bronzes. Like the golds, they do not flame, and cannot stomach the firestone. As such, they fly in the Queen's Wing.
Metallic Greens Impress regardless of gender and sexual preference, unlike the golds who prefer heterosexual women. They have the same basic temperament as the golds.
Amorites are small females - somewhat smaller than the smallest green. Their hides, in low light, appear to be a rusty shade of red all over. But when one can focus on them in a better light, touches of lighter pinks, white, and light and dark purples appear on the hide. They are hints of the other colors, and do not overpower the overall red of the hide.
Like the larger greens, Amorite dragons do not clutch. However, they have their fair share of flirtatiousness. Like the greens, they rise to mate. They do not lay eggs. They can stomach the firestone and fight Thread with a vengeance. In fact, they are very enthusiastic in Threadfall. They are highly maneuverable. Their skills in flight is often lauded.
Firelizards
Not unlike the blue firelizard, the Aris is small. However, they are smaller even than the greens. The Aris, while he might appear blue at Hatching, is just a touch different. His hide is a dark, uninterrupted blue for the most part. When flying, one cannot see any difference between the Aris and a normal blue firelizard. However, when he finally sits still, the swirls of white and lighter blues show themselves, and put the lie to the thought that he is just a runty blue.
Snowstorm firelizards are among the largest of the species, competing in size with the golds. They are male. While they do compete with the other males for the gold and green flights, they tend to stay out of it most of the time. They are not particularly amorous. It is believed that it is because of this mating apathy that they are rare. A mating between a gold and a Snowstorm is the only way to have one be produced.
Their hides, at first glance, appear to be white. But, they are not. At closer inspection, the hide of the Snowstorm shows swirls of light grey, and small flecks of purest black - as though the night sky were seen peeking through grey clouds.
The hide of the black seems to be obsidian black, the hide is shining black and seems to sparkle in the light. The personality seems to be very calm and laid back, seems to have a calming personality. The rank this color holds is just below a brown but above a blue and its size reflects.
Blacks can be both gender though more often female than male.
This is a one time color variation. She is a light amethyst shade, bordering on white. She's about the size of a gold, and is a clutching female. There will not be another amethyst flit.
